At the H8S football academy, we teach how to play and understand the game using the H8S model: an attacking philosophy.
H8S Fútbol
Every session at H8S Fútbol should enthuse, stimulate, educate and inspire our players for them to make the very most of the opportunity to develop their full potential on the pitch, both socially and academically.
We strive to create a positive and pleasant learning environment in which players feel comfortable to experiment, make mistakes and express themselves.
Because you need to make mistakes and know how to improve in order to learn.
OVERALL TARGETS FOR THE ACADEMIES
- Find the perfect gradual and integrated training using a clearly defined method.
- Improve specific aspects of how football is taught.
- Convey social values through football.
- Work with parents on educational aspects for the child.
THE TEACHING METHOD
- To perfect basic technical aspects through repetition, while also achieving tactical adaptation to situations in the game
- To lend greater importance to mental skills and abilities (understanding the game and controlling its logic)
- Understanding of the game in order to make better decisions.
FOUNDATIONS UNDERPINNING THE METHOD
- Unique working method.
- Unified training criteria.
- Application of the same play system to all F-7 and F-11 teams.
To facilitate learning and for the METHOD to be regulated and adapted, we divide teaching into the following stages:
- Introductory Stage: Development of psychomotor skills. ages 5-7
- Stage 1: Initiation. ages 8-10
- Stage 2: Learning. ages 11-13
- Stage 3: Learning and improvement. ages 14-16
- Stage 4: Improvement and competition. ages 17-19.
H8S Sant Cugat
Penya Blaugrana Sant Cugat-Escuela de Fútbol Hristo Stoitchkov is a registered organisation within the Catalan Football Federation, with 33 teams in the federation and over 500 children aged between 5 and 19.

H8S Barcelona
The H8S Barcelona Football Academy was opened in 2009 under express instructions from Hristo Stoitchkov, who wanted an academy to welcome all those children wishing to practice their favourite sport: football.
